Uses 3M's high-performance Thinsulate™ padding.
Compared to general down and polyester cotton, if the thickness is the same
Achieves approximately twice the heat retention.
This insulating material is thin but warm, trapping body heat while allowing moisture to pass through, making it a comfortable material that is thin, light, and warm.

This item is made with careful consideration given to the amount of padding.
Regular padded pants are thick because they are filled with a lot of cotton, and are perceived as being difficult to wear for everyday use in town, but these pants have been made less thick so that they don't feel out of place even in the city.
Thinsulate™ is used, so even a small amount will not reduce the heat retention performance.
It is also useful for serious outdoor activities and winter sports.
